Capitol Reef NP: Grand Wash

Capitol Reef National Park is one of the five beautiful and unique national parks located within Utah state territory.
Just a few minutes from the start of Scenic Drive, here is the entrance of Grand Wash...

A historic copper mine site...

At a Grand Wash view point ...

Another Grand Wash view point...

A Grand Wash view point... You may see the Cassidy Arch...

A Grand Wash view point with a Sign Rock or Rock Sign...

A Grand Wash view point with our car...

Cassidy Arch view point at Grand Wash...

A big rock...

The tailhead to Cassidy Arch and the Narrows...

My wife said this is a "Egypt Face" rock...

We saw Six(!) Bold Eagle flying over red giant rocks, and their bigger shadows...

Red rocks with right shoot angle...

Rocks and shadows...

We met a couple from Nevada. They are heading to the Narrow trail under 105F temperature! Great!...

Margaret and me were backing to our car after a short walk in the canyon.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to Capitol Reef - most of it is actually off the paved roads.
